Dedicated Controls
Pioneer has introduced dedicated controls in order to keep the DDJ-SZ2 a true plug-and-play with Serato DJ. With assignable Key Shift, Key Sync and Flip controls, the DDJ-SZ2 allows you to get hands-on with the latest additions to Serato. The DDJ-SZ2 comes bundled with the latest version of Serato DJ Pro, as well as the Pitch n’ Time and Serato Flip expansion packs, so you can use these features straight out of the box.
Improved Jog Wheel Latency
Carried over from the DDJ-SZ are the full-size 8.1″ jog wheels. With the DDJ-SZ2, Pioneer has improved the latency to make scratching more responsive and precise. You can use the Jog Feeling Adjust to set your preferred resistance. The jogs have illuminated cue point markers and an accurate countdown for even greater precision. Combined with the high-performance MAGVEL crossfader, the DDJ-SZ2 is a great option for both mixing and scratching.
Sound Color FX and Oscillator
The Sound Color Filter is loaded in each channel of the mixer, and dynamic arranging and mixing of music will be possible by adding effects to sound regions. Expand on this with the on-board oscillator. Create a more versatile sound by turning the knob to overlay your track with Noise, Drop, Laser or Siren. Modulate using the dial to add texture as well as tension to your tracks.
